“Travelling with a suitcase around the globe can be exciting, adventurous and also challenging for women but I also discovered it to be fun and inspiring as well. I refer traveling as a WISDOM.
I never thought I would be a person who’ll face the camera every day. My first travel started when I was in my 3rd year of college. I started exploring the places in and around Tamil Nadu and landed up launching a YouTube channel for the same.
We started our channel Gypsy Jinns by having just 3 subscribers initially and now that we have more than 30K hearts following us.
I love solo travelling but being a young woman with no prior experience in travelling, I was a little hesitant to move around places. My best friend Benny and I were the ones who used to stick around and do all stuff.
Coming from a traditional background, I also had my restrictions and family constraints which confined me to not doing certain things.
Breaking all the barriers around, I came up strong, by putting a full stop to all the negatives around me. I started focusing on what is required to follow my dream. I set my goals right. I perfectly jotted my schedules.
I started exploring all the taboo topics and gave awareness to people on the taboo topics through one of the channels, Asiaville.
Whatever happens, I keep saying myself – ‘This too shall pass!’
When I’m now identified as a host or as a traveller or as a scriptwriter, I feel so grounded, elated and thankful to myself for treating me well when no one showed up.
I travel around the globe independently, I find peace within myself, I don’t lend my ears to any of the maddening subjects, I treat everyone right, I multi-task, I am a public orator, I do videos, and most importantly, I’m a proud woman!”
