“At just 9 years old, I discovered that stories could take me places, and today, at 11 years, two published books stand as proof.
Like many others, the pandemic quietly sparked a new beginning for me through writing. With endless hours and nowhere to go during lockdown, I stumbled upon an old notebook at home and began writing whatever crossed my mind.
There was no plan or pressure, only thoughts flowing freely onto paper. Slowly, those random lines turned into short stories, and with each passing day, my confidence grew along with my love for words.
Noticing my growing interest, my mother enrolled me in a creative writing course in 2022. It introduced me to the fundamentals of storytelling and poetry, while also encouraging imagination through regular assignments and prompts.
Each exercise pushed me to think deeper, write better, and trust my creative instincts. Writing no longer felt like a pastime, it felt like a space where I truly belonged. As the number of stories increased, we compiled them into a small collection.
In December 2023, that thought became reality with the publication of my first book, Unlimited Adventures, a collection of poems and short stories born from curiosity and courage.
During the same period, I developed a deep fascination for animals and nature. I spent hours watching documentaries, reading articles, and understanding animal behaviour and habitats. Even as my first book was happening, I began working on my second book.
Over close to two years, I researched consistently, writing every weekend and shaping the content piece by piece into a detailed manuscript of nearly 170 pages.
I shared it with my friends and family and their response surprised me. Their encouragement planted a bold thought in my mind, to turn my writing into a book.
In Aug 2024, I published my second book titled Unlimited Nature, an educational work dedicated to animals and the environments they thrive in.
Throughout this journey, my parents remained my strongest support system, while friends and relatives constantly motivated me to move forward. Alongside writing, I also started exploring theatre as a creative hobby and have been doing theatre for the last 4 years.
I may not have all the answers about my future yet, but I know this much, I am learning, creating, and growing every day.
Sometimes, passion finds you quietly, and when it does, trusting it can lead you to places you never imagined before now.”
