“It all began when I hosted my very first show at the age of sixteen. It was an inter-college competition, but for me, it opened an entirely new world.
Watching an event come together along with backstage chaos and rehearsals to marketing strategies and final execution completely drew me in.
I wasn’t just interested in being on stage; I was fascinated by everything that happened behind it. That curiosity slowly turned into a passion for event management.
I went on to pursue my undergraduate degree in Business Management and naturally gravitated towards branding and marketing. Around the same time, I began shaping a startup idea inspired by the shows I hosted.
While there were several media companies conducting large-scale award shows, very few platforms recognised the effort and innovation of small startups. That gap became my calling.
This vision gave birth to Businessmint!
Today, Businessmint conducts award shows and manages PR activities across more than 200 media outlets nationwide. Over the last two years, we’ve expanded into celebrity collaborations and hosted events across cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Goa, Delhi, and beyond.
Our portfolio includes national and age-level awards such as 30 Under 30, 40 Under 40, and 50 Under 50, along with recognising NGOs for their social contributions. We also partnered with SHE Awards to curate a dedicated platform for the Telugu audience in Hyderabad.
When I started, I didn’t have a well-known name to lean on. All I had was belief, ideas, and a strong urge to build something meaningful.
In an industry driven by perception, trust doesn’t come easily. The early days were about proving credibility without credentials and building confidence without a track record.
There were moments when events didn’t unfold as expected, collaborations didn’t work out, and finances were stretched thin. Those experiences had a way of stripping away illusions and revealing commitment.
What helped me move forward was choosing substance over speed. I paid attention to execution, showed up consistently, and immersed myself in it.
Gradually, the work began to speak for itself. The same people who once asked, “Who are you?” started asking, “When is your next event?”
What I’ve learned is simple: challenges don’t vanish, but you become better equipped to face them.
When you stop chasing quick wins and start building strong foundations, consistency turns into your greatest strength!”
