“We are the duo behind Binge Studio, a design practice built on curiosity, creativity, and a deep love for spaces that feel alive.
Our journey began in Chennai, a city that shaped not just our childhoods but also our collective vision. Growing up amidst its layered charm—from quiet agraharams to bustling bazaars—we couldn’t help but be fascinated by how design lives and breathes in everyday surroundings.
Even as students, we were drawn to details most people walked past. Mylapore’s weathered facades, street corners framed by light and shadow, the symmetry of temple streets—they all became our classroom. We’d sketch, absorb, reflect. And somewhere along the way, we knew this was it. Architecture wasn’t just a profession. It was going to be our life.
We built our foundation on that shared dream, and also on two very different but complementary academic paths. One of us pursued a Master’s in Architecture in the US, soaking in international exposure and design thinking from a global lens. The other, a graduate from Anna University, brought in deep-rooted clarity in regional design, cultural context, and the pulse of Indian living. Together, we found balance in perspective—and that became our edge.
The idea for Binge Studio was born from a desire to create a practice where design wasn’t boxed in by trends or commercial pressure. We wanted the freedom to explore ideas that mattered. To create spaces that felt as good as they looked. Spaces with soul.
Chennai gave us that courage. The city has a way of grounding you while pushing you to experiment. It taught us balance—the dance between tradition and innovation, heritage and utility.
With every project we take on, we carry forward that ethos. We don’t just design structures. We design stories, experiences, and memories. Whether it’s a home, a retail space, or a public area, our goal is to make it both beautiful and deeply usable.
To us, Binge Studio is more than a firm. It’s our way of honoring Chennai, our roots, and the people who trust us with their most personal dreams.
If you’re curious about our work or just want to explore what design can do for a space, feel free to connect. Our doors—and minds—are always open.”
