“I was the elder of the two of us and the onus of taking care of my baby brother has always fallen on me, but I have no complaints. He is someone I have come to adore and I still remember the day when they first brought him home; I was smitten! Born to parents who are vegetable sellers, we are left to our business, from going to school to making something to eat once we come back. But we love hanging out at our parents shop and we love to interact with the people who come to buy from us. School is also sometimes taxing because it is hard to keep up with the subjects but I have to study well and take care of my parents when they grow old. I owe it to my brother too, for making me realise responsibility and for just being there! 2020 was hard for us as a family and there were quite a few days when we were scared that we might die of starvation but life has been incredibly kind to us. We pulled through and we are looking forward to an amazing year!”
