“I have been running this stall for more than 25 years now. Before this, I was working as a lottery agent. It was a hard life running like crazy through town and acting as a collecting agent for banks and institutions. As I couldn’t take that struggle any more, I decided to move here to start this. I have a good working arrangement with the police station opposite here so they ensure that my stall stays put all through the night. I have married off both my daughters and it’s me and my wife living out our retirement years by making a few bucks here and there. The summer season is the busiest with people crowding my stall for cool fresh juice. But when the monsoons come in, we enter a state of dormancy. But I can’t give a rest to this. This has come to become my bread and I enjoy waking up to do this work everyday. Life’s been kind and there are no complaints. Everyday is a new beginning as they say made all the more interesting with a few challenges.”
