“From a very young age, I have always enjoyed being around kids. Kids bring in an unadulterated energy that can equal to very few things in life. Owing to that precise fact, I decided to pursue Biomedical science and I’m currently working in an hospital as an embryologist in the infertility. The chances of couples who undergo fertility treatment, ever conceiving are quite slim and the odds don’t always work in their favour. But just two days ago, I received the most beautiful news that one of the couples that I have been treating just confirmed about their pregnancy. But beyond my work here, my heart still lies with my volunteering years. I used to volunteer with an organisation called ‘U&I’ where I used to teach government school kids. I found so much fulfillment there and I still look back to relish on all the time I spent with them. My long term plan would be to save enough from my job and go forward to dedicate my life to volunteering. My moto is that, all of us can dedicate our lives to a cause and work towards bringing in a change in the society. It starts with just a small mindset change – the world prospers when all of us move forward together.”
