“As far as I can remember, I had always had an affinity towards art. I remember practicing this from a kid when my mom noticed this interest of mine and started learning different art forms just to teach me. Once she got an idea that I was good to be trained under different professionals, I went on to train professionally.
However my first break through came when I won the young world’s art competition and emerged in the first place as the title winner. And that is when, life confirmed to me that maybe I could hold on this precious passion of mine.
Shortly after my graduation, I took a break year to explore and do things I liked doing. That meant learning a foreign language and also travelling to a different state every weekend to pursue my love for art. This further reinstated my beliefs in my skills.
I am currently pursing my Ph.d and also working on selling my art through a digital platform. What was earlier a passion now has been the only respite I have from reality. For this precise reason, I have started taking free workshops once in every month where I get to share my art with everyone who would be interested.
Gone are the days when people looked down upon people pursuing art. Art should be taken up by people without fear for its job market feasibility and other essential factors. The more the world opens up to receive artists, the more this world will benefit from that emergence am sure.”
