HoM: What are you girls so excited about?

Friend 1 (Left corner): The three of us are best friends seeing each other after 6 long months!

HoM: How do you all know each other:

Friend 3 (Right corner): We used to study in the same government school in this village, but it only has classes till the fifth grade. Therefore, starting last year our families have shifted to other neighbouring villages and we are in three different corners now. So festivals like these are the only time when we all can come together to meet.

HoM: What do you all do when you meet?

Friend 1: First, we break open our piggy banks and use the money to buy candy and ice cream. The anna here makes candy in so many different shapes. I just finished both my watch-shaped and her (second friend) flower-shaped one!

Friend 3: And I got earrings made of small pearls. They bring it here from the city and I’ve always wanted one!

HoM (To Friend 2): What about you?

Friend 2: chuckles and passes her phone quickly.

I just take selfies on my mother’s phone. She doesn’t know though that I have it with me right now. I’ll quietly run and put it back in her bag in five mins.
