“Right from when I was a kid, I had always wanted to be a doctor. However, it came to light early on that I had a condition called limb girdle muscular dystrophy. It broke me and I had no idea what to make of the future. However I had a supportive team in my parents, my sister and my brother who did everything in their capacity to make my health grow. In between, my health deteriorated for the worse and it came to a point where I was wondering if I would make it.
It was a tough period and there was so much uncertainty. We were after several doctors for information and it was to no avail. Here is when I decided to study medicine and give it a shot. I cleared my NEET examination and got selected in BHMS specialising in homeopathy. I left home with a dream to return as a qualified doctor.
For someone who have been trained to face the worst, I worked hard to realise my dreams and I emerged as the college topper. I started to practice homeopathy with the help of a surgical aid. I have been treating patients for various diseases including the ones with the same condition as mine.
Currently pursuing masters under my esteemed faculty members and I couldn’t have asked for a more blessed life. Life has always dealt me with the short end of the stick but behind every fall, there is a silver lining and I have grown adept at finding that.
Most people say homeopathy has been a blessing in their life and it’s no different in mine either. I didn’t choose homeopathy, rather it chose me and for that I will always be grateful. Sky is the limit and onward we will sail throwing caution to the wind.”
