“I have been selling flowers here for close to 40 years now. I hail from a family of 7 sisters and one brother. My mother went to hell and beyond to raise us but we were not lucky enough to be educated. I came down to this job when I was 17 years old and I have been doing it ever since. I used to come to this place in the morning at around 6 to set shop but of late, it becomes late, sometimes even 11 AM. Second, to my mother, I love my husband more. There has been a lot of memorable instances with them and I am glad to have known them in this lifetime. People come and go as if on a journey and we meet and grow up with different kinds of humans but our journey is almost always a solitary one. Life has been good to me and I am content where I am under the grace of the divine. My dream is to establish my kid’s lives and settle them down and retire peacefully.”
