“Fortunately, I had the possibility to start my career very early.
Though I was a state rank holder in my 10th and secured very good marks in 12th, I was still offended to join engineering at some corner. However, I failed in concentrating on my studies during my Mechanical engineering course and that led me to envision being an actor.
To bypass my classes, I focused more on cultural events, which directed me to the Variety program. I discovered that I can easily act and that I was so passionate about acting.
Of course, being the only son of two government school teachers, I had no thumbs up when I talked about my love for cinema and acting. All I heard from them was ‘there’s no one to help you out in this field’, which kept playing in a loop in my head.
They disliked me choosing an art form as my career. It’s just a normal middle-class’s mentality of securing their child’s future in a better profession.
Luckily, I came up with Temple Monkeys, which is a YouTube Channel, that gave me an opportunity to showcase my raw talents as an actor. I had played one of the lead roles in their web series being a debut actor. Gradually, people started recognizing me for my work. I’ve also had got the chance to perform as a debut commentator in one of the football tournaments as well.
I gained my confidence in moving forward towards my dream of being an actor or maybe a writer if time and fortune permitted.
When I was skeptical about choosing a path, which I haven’t ever experienced so far, I believed in my conviction to become an artist in the media industry.
Though I crossed plenty of ways to quit my passion, I only skimmed at the brighter side of it. If I can believe in my work and passion at the age of 22, then anybody can do anything!
If you strongly believe that you can do it, then go for it! Failures are just experiences!”
