“As a kid, I loved playing with other kids during my free time and also attended school. But when the lockdown rolled in, we were all boxed into our respective houses. And this was the time that I discovered this wonderful world of cooking and baking. As an ardent Instagram user, I caught my mom looking at the array of Dalgona coffee videos that were making the feeds and I was impressed with it. So when my mom set out to make one, I pitched in saying I would do it. My first coffee was an amazing feat and since then, my love for cooking caught fire. I started looking up recipes and with the help of my mom, I tried different dishes. I also baked my first cake and enjoyed eating it completely. So when my maid’s son’s birthday I baked a cake and celebrated with him. I think kids these days should make an honest effort to help their moms in their daily kitchen work; you get to make delicious food and also eat them. Somedays my parents used to take me around and we used to distribute chocolates and cupcakes to the kids in our area. In the long run, I would like to use my skills and give back to the society.”
