“My story can be most relatable to many young girls out there.
I’m from a normal middle-class family, raised by my grandmother and elder brother on most occasions since my parents were working. I did my B.E. and cracked my first interview via college campus. Gradually, I fell in love with a man with whom I’m married now.
Though life had much to teach me during those stages, one of the most cherished and turning points of my life was when I got pregnant at the age of 25 with my son.
I worked till the 8th month of pregnancy, after which I realized the essence of being engaged. I got into my medical leave, post-depression, and the stress began growing. I wasn’t willing to stay indoors. As a tonic to divert my depression, my husband suggested me to provide digital reviews on the products or experiences that I personally had.
Considering my genuine reviews (‘reviewbysadhu’ on Instagram), I built my woman community where people started trusting in my reviews, which became my passion and an added responsibility.
I’ve been reviewing products, brands, places and a lot more for about 4 years. With authentic testimonials on each product, I planned to take up this to be my full-time work as well. Initially, it was tough to manage both, but pre-planning worked. I quit my 9-5 job a couple of months ago to start working on developing and enhancing my skills professionally and reviewing my journey.
Every person has a challenge. Women can have more. Wives can have even more. Mothers can have it all, too – but it’s you who should set the boundaries. YOU find a way on your next step rather than weeping into the other (negative) side of the coin.
Go for it; this is your time!”
