“Passion fuels purpose. For us, music has always been more than just melodies – it’s a way to share our emotions. That’s how Sujay and I, SreeKrishna, began our journey. We first met at a cultural event in college. They say that like-minds attract, and that’s exactly what happened. Our shared love for music sparked an instant connection, and before we knew it, we were dreaming of spreading happiness through our tunes.
We are in our college now, focusing on our academics as well as our passion. Our first performance was at the opening of one of the clothing stores in Chennai. Nervous but excited, we gave it our all. The audience’s warmth and applause filled us with a kind of high that no party or anything ever could give us. It gave us the courage to take our passion further, performing at shows and events, each time growing a little more confident and connected.
Being students in an engineering college was no cakewalk. Sujay, a third-year student, and I, in my final year, juggled equations and exams alongside our love for music. Balancing academics and our passion wasn’t easy, but we knew it was necessary to grow as individuals.
What kept us going was the support from our friends and family. They believed in us, even when we doubted ourselves. We weren’t chasing fame or money; the joy of seeing someone smile because of our music was reward enough. It fed our souls in ways words can’t describe.
Our passion pushed us to step out of our comfort zones. It taught us resilience and reminded us that the journey matters as much as the destination. Each performance, practice session, and shared moment brought us closer – not just as musicians but as friends.
Today, as we continue to evolve, I realize how precious this journey is. Passion isn’t just about what you do; it’s about what it brings out in you. It’s a fire that lights the way, even when the path gets tough. For us, music is that fire.
What’s your passion? What fuels your purpose? Whatever it is, embrace it – it just might change your life like music changed ours.”
