“My dad often used to tell me that friends are like passing clouds and one should never rely on them too much. But I beg to differ. I would even go on to say that friends have changed my life, forever. I have been incredibly blessed to have a girl pal who has seen me through my thick and thin.
Shortly after my graduation, I moved to work in a corporate where I met a lovely set of people who are now the corner stones of my life. Amongst them was this one particular girl who stood out. Her undying love and helping nature was what stuck with me.
We connected instantly. We have been each other’s support system ever since we met. It is surprising how far we have come since we met each other. She is like an extended member of the family.
I faced a hard time moving away from India for my higher education. My father was down with a serious illness and unfortuantely I was unable to fly down immediately. But my best girl pal stood with my family helping them in all ways possible, taking on the role of my sister.
She has also been learning to drive so she could come pick me up from the airport and there is nothing that comes close to the bond we share today.
True friendships are hard to come by but once they do, there is nothing like them. I am glad to have found mine in this beautiful person.”
