Among a few Indian Independent singers, writers cum composers who have redefined the art of singing with their unfathomable potential and exemplary work, I’ve also been noticed for my works in recent times.

I pursued Audio Engineering in Chennai just because I so much desired to settle down in Chennai. The only course which wasn’t in or near Erode (my hometown) was Audio Engineering and so I chose it, not just blindly, but also to the fact that I was likely interested in music.

The success that I’m experiencing now isn’t a one-night uplifted game. There was a 6-year struggle behind the ‘today’. Judah (my friend), who accompanied me throughout my musical journey, and I didn’t have proper food and shelter when we decided to drop into Chennai.

We had vacated many mansions and there were days when we didn’t have food even 2 meals/day! Sadly, I quit college as I didn’t have fees to pay for my exams.

Besides buying financial help from a few friends, I decided to perform live musical shows and then the lockdown hit hardly. This was the peak time when I was determined to quit EVERYTHING.

It was in 2021 when I restarted my troop and composed an album song called RANT. Rant, surprisingly, was loved by many people across the country and hit 3rd place on the Indian Spotify Chart.

I have, to date, worked and released 25+ songs. I’m now a recognised singer, writer and composer.

Releasing one’s own album is very challenging but not giving up your hope is even more challenging. I chose both!”
