“Dancing gave me power, strength, hope and love!
I started playing with my feet at the age of 5. I was a self-taught amateur dancer initially and then learnt the art of dance, the movements and the styles professionally, during my college.
I pursued engineering in IT and, like yet another mediocre professional girl, got recruitment from campus. It’s been around 4 years since I started my work life and my dancing journey kept travelling on the side.
I am currently pursuing my MBA in Business Analytics at BITS Pilani. I’m fond of multi-tasking and I love to keep myself super busy.
That’s one of the reasons why I manage to do my post-graduation, dancing, working, modelling, TV commercials, and taking care of my mommy. Being a single daughter to my mom, who also takes the position of being a dad, has been my saviour throughout my life.
I lost my father when I was 2 months old and from that moment, my mom worked so very hard to bring me to where I’m today. From shooting videos for my Instagram reels to correcting my expressions to making some hot coffee while I’m doing my online course, she has always been by my side. Being the only daughter to my only parent, I decided to make my journey a prosperous one.
We still live in a society where marriage is still accepted as one of the highest achievements in a girl’s life. By neglecting all the negatives or unsupportive thoughts, I learnt to live a peaceful life and every day became interesting then on.
It is better if we ignore anxieties and pay more attention to the process of growing. Because the process is what life is all about. Enjoy the process and leave the rest to the superior power upon you.”
