“I’ve often performed below average in my academics but that wasn’t the case when I started working.
During my school, my marks were very low which made my tuition madam remove me from her student group because she didn’t want her reputation to fade away.
During my college, when I had 8 arrears in my 5th semester, instead of educating me, my school punished me which reflected in 13 arrears in the next semester itself.
I was so much interested in Malcolm sports, wherein I had participated 5 times State-wise and got placed twice. But this success did not dominate my academic failure.
However, I cleared all the arrears in my 7th semester. My family had strictly warned me to take over the responsibility of performing well.
I did ask myself how actually performance rated and whether it only focuses on studies. I did go through a lot of breakdowns and discomforts mentally during the lockdown period since I avoided the outer world, which doomed me and my presence.
In the meanwhile, I tried working in a couple of organizations as well.
With the help of a friend of mine, I got to know about the opportunities at Amazon. I did work so hard to clear all rounds. I was well prepared and took effort and interest in exploring different ways to impress the MNC.
Finally, I joined Amazon as an Analyst a year back.
To keep our workplace healthy and lively, I started creating content on Instagram, which reached millions of hearts. Most of the content is relatable, fun and real-life incidents. Thanks to all my colleagues (who are more than a family to me) for considering it so sportively. Also simultaneously, I do service to needy people, when occasion and time permits – that’s what makes me sleep satisfied on so many days.
Life can throw as many tantrums as possible, but it is you who should be ready to face them and grab only the most promising opportunities, bypassing the hindrances. While you find out what best suits you, you might know ‘what’s next’. Until then, keep surviving!”
