“I’m 65 years old and still running this business by his divine grace. One of the major things in life that helped me transition through the odds is to have a set discipline to myself – namely the time we eat, the time we sleep and a strict exercise regimen. To this day, I don’t take any kind of junk food and I don’t skip my walking routine either. I got into the venture of repairing tailoring machines when I was 20 years old. I joined as an apprentice with an elder and trained under him for close to 10 years. And then I decided to set up my own shop and till this day, life has been good without any complaints. I take off on Sundays and devote the whole day to my family. I swear by certain virtues that have helped me shape my life thus far namely, honesty, sincerity and dedication. I have earned a good repertoire with all my clients and they bring in more clients through word of mouth. There is no one else to continue this lineage forward in my family line but I do train apprentices now and then and they in turn, explore this and make a name for themselves in this world. One of the primary principles that anybody can live by is to not take life so seriously. Do your duties and remember to have fun in the process. None of this is going to matter in another 200 to 300 years so why even worry at all?”
