“As long as we enjoy what we do, we will remain content with life. I am a self-taught driver and I have been driving for more than 6 years now. You can often find people complaining about the road conditions and the driving tendencies of other people on the road, but those don’t bother me at all. We are a family of three and shortly after completing my 10th boards, I was forced to leave school, to work as a mechanic. The conditions in my house were very poor back then, so, I became the breadwinner for my family. My dad died at a very early age leaving my mother to work in odd jobs to sustain the family. This was going on for a while before I took over. Working under an able boss, I learnt the trades of the business and earned a name for myself as a trustworthy mechanic. As I became acquainted with automobiles, I learned to drive everything from a small hatchback to a heavy vehicle like a lorry. As a driver, I have been able to work with an interesting set of people from whom I have picked up some valuable traits like punctuality and presentation. In this age and time, driving in the city can be a daunting task but you will never find me speeding or losing my temper over reckless drivers. It all boils down to our mindset and our reactions in any given situation. Life has thrown quite a few curveballs at me but I have made my peace with my past. Each day brings in a new adventure and I look forward to it with a smile.”
