For 13 years, I lived the corporate life, suit and tie, clocking hours. As an MBA graduate, I was on the well-trodden path – good pay, a house, and a settled family life. I fulfilled every dream my parents had for me, but deep down, something was missing.
At 34, I decided to make a change. I wanted to create something new, something that benefitted people. Growing up, my mother fed me fresh, quality greens – food that kept me strong and healthy. Today, with rising prices and declining quality, the younger generation misses out on the very essence of good food. I knew I had to change that.
I started my business with a simple belief: Food is medicine. But food serves its purpose only when it’s organic and untainted. Owning farms around Chennai, I focused on cultivating greens that weren’t just fresh, but full of life. From exotic spinach varieties to everyday staples, Farm Greens became my mission.
It wasn’t easy. Logistics, labor, unpredictable weather, and maintaining greens were challenges I faced daily. But I didn’t give up. I meticulously planned every delivery route and built trust through word-of-mouth marketing – today, I have over 52,000 customers who swear by the greens we sell.
