“I’ve been an auto driver for 20 years now and drive from the same Taj Coromandel stand since then. I look forward to starting work every morning because I get to meet new people and there’s so much learning that happens. The only thing that’s different from when I started is the way people prefer a travel aggregator for their commute over talking to an auto driver and hiring it. While I agree it’s convenience over everything else, it would be nice if people think about paying a little more to auto drivers who struggle for a living over helping taxi and auto aggregators who are already rich! However, I’m also happy that it’s opened up more employment opportunities for my fellow drivers who could not have bought a car or auto, had it not been for the assistance of these aggregators.
