“I was born and brought up in Tiruvannamalai. My father—though visually impaired—had a vision for me that was clearer than most. He believed his daughter could do anything. He made sure I learned everything from music and dance to money management and swimming. That belief became my foundation.
In 2017, I moved to Chennai for higher education and completed my MSc in Physics. But life had other plans. I found myself drawn to makeup, and in 2021, with no formal background in beauty but full of confidence, I left my MNC job and began my journey as a makeup artist.
What started as a passion slowly became my profession. I added saree draping, hairstyling, and nail art to my services. It wasn’t easy—there were people who told me I lacked patience, communication skills, or the talent to survive in this field. But I always believed the universe falls in love with a stubborn heart. And it did.
In just four years, I’ve worked with over 300 brides, 50+ ad shoots, 2 films, and built a talented team from scratch. But life threw me a storm I never saw coming—my father passed away in October 2024. My world stood still. I paused everything for five months, grieving, healing. And then I reminded myself: even a broken crayon can still color.
Today, I’m back—with more resilience than ever. Chennai didn’t just give me a career; it gave me friendships, identity, and strength.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned—it’s this: your talent will feed you, your passion will carry you, and your courage will rebuild you.
The only key to surviving… is never giving up.”
