“My dad was working in the banking industry. I had the opportunity to shift our home every three years. This made me gather friends all over the state.
Networking started at a very young age for me.
I saw it as an experience rather than a journey back then. Because the early 2000s were the time that carried many youngsters abroad and introduced us to the world of computers.
However, I chose a different lane – Environmental and societal activities & issues.
During my engineering, I participated in many social activities and pledged my presence in almost all NGO movements. After my engineering in one of the hardcore subjects, I got an opportunity from the UN-affiliated organization ‘Peace Child International’ in London, and the path then led me to what I’m doing today.
I’ve been part of and led a lot of social and environmental campaigns in regards to creating change, raising awareness, education, youth assessment, fundraising, corporate training, sustainable developments and loads more on the list.
A couple of decades before, though life was at pace for many of my old friends, I stepped it very slow but grew my foundation to be as strong as how the digital world is now.
What not have I done while I was a PR, Marketer, Creative Director, Brand expertise, lead of Promotional activities, etc.!
You could name anything & I would have worked hands-on in that, from the Medical industry to the Media industry (I even promoted an MLA candidate during the 2011 Assembly elections).
But looking back, I see that I’ve always cherished everything that I’ve ever done. Though I have had plenty of ground experiences, I still am able to adapt and learn to grow my career. Never have I stopped listening to my peers’ ideas and creativity.
In this phase of life, I value the experience, the exposure, and the wisdom of human potential. Though COVID had consumed a majority of our peace and happiness (for a few), I’ve been able to say ‘It’s okay’ to myself, to be able to stand again, and win the trust of brands that I had worked for.
Just because I’m into a social life doesn’t mean the journey was quick and calm. I’m blessed with a very supportive family, who backed me up mentally. And that made me take decisions wisely because my lane of improvising the brands can or cannot be taken seriously when the finance hits.
But I believe it’s okay to take a break and restart anything slowly but strongly.”
