“My father is no more now but he’s my greatest emotional powerhouse to date.
I was bestowed with the freedom to choose everything that’s necessary to my life. My father, who owned a theatre in Cheyyur, was from a very hard-working family. He was assiduous in letting me thrive on my own terms.
Though I had my mother, wife and sister supporting me, I consider my father to be my boon and the pillar of my strength (firstly).
Holding media as my background, I picked up dual diploma in Multimedia as one of my mainstream courses. Considering my experience working with Adobe and other creative tools for almost 20 years, I’m now the Director of Creative at Social Beat, which is a decade-old Digital Agency brand, and have been proudly associated with Social Beat (Suneil & Vikas) for almost 9 years now.
I have a professional life of delivering the most exemplary product-based creative ideas and strategies to the brand, and videos but while considering my passion, I owe something to society and thus are my contributions to making an equal and progressive society with an accelerating effort on creating an impact via my films and visions.
I’ve always liked and encouraged a healthy competition but never urged to lose respect anywhere during my career. A few such qualities of upbringing have been me launch StylesNSmiles, which is an NGO, working for a social cause of donating hair to cancer survivors. My father’s death drove me to commence this NGO as his final days were stuck with cancer. Even in his absence, he directs me toward women’s liberation to form a healthier society.
As we continue to grow our impact, we capture the stories of these courageous women donating their beauty (hair), being courageous, being bold and being empowered, as much to share the power of women as to celebrate the triumph of Her story over anything else.
By dynamically balancing my profession and passion at the age of 40, I take pride in being called a proud father of a 5th-grade young & energetic boy. He makes me thrive hard to be one like my dad, my hero!
My dad, who is my inspiration inspires me to be an inspiration to my son! Thus, the legacy continues! ”
