“Everyone has dreams of doing something for the disadvantaged community members. That is how I developed a software for the blind society which would detect obstacles in the path. However during my recent visit to the museum for the blind paved the way for one of my recent innovations.
We all know that Diwali is a time of celebration for everyone. But people with disabilities find it difficult to participate in these celebrations mainly because there is risk involved when they have to burn a cracker. So this in a way curbs them from participating in celebrations.
This got me thinking and I started to innovate for new ways. And finally, we have the remote launcher! This software enables us to burn a cracker using a remote control; thus enabling us to participate in the celebrations while also ensuring our safety.
We are going to be donating this prototype to the ‘Museum for the blind’ this Friday. I’m utmost grateful for my family members and also my school for always encouraging me to give my best and being receptive of all my ideas.
My family and our school members are going to be celebrating Diwali with the association for blind members this Friday and I can’t wait.”
