“What makes someone choose the stage over a steady job? Why pick long nights, low pay, and endless rehearsals instead of something safe and stable? Why keep chasing art when money is always tight? We ask ourselves these questions often – not because we regret our choices, but to remind ourselves why we started. Running a theatre company isn’t just a job for us; it’s our life’s passion.

Our journey began in 2007 with the founding of our dance company. For years, dance was our passion and focus, until the pandemic brought everything to a standstill. As the industry shifted away from dance shows, we, along with our team, had to reconsider our future. Amid these challenges, we faced our greatest loss: the passing of Poochu, one of our most beloved team members. It felt like everything was crumbling before us, until Denver came into our lives.

We had known Denver from before, as the owner of a production house, and had previously collaborated on theatre projects. A highly acclaimed theatre artist renowned for his acting and directing, Denver breathes for the stage, having devoted his life to the craft. He opened our eyes to the world of theatre, and it completely transformed our path.

Denver taught us to see talent in a whole new way. We evolved beyond dancers – we became storytellers, actors, and performers. Fueled by this transformation, we joined forces with Denver, blending our vision with his expertise. Together, we launched Poochu’s Production, a tribute to our dear friend Poochu, a budding theatre artist whose passion continues to inspire us. This wasn’t just a new chapter in our careers, it was the realization of a dream and the birth of a lasting legacy.

Our core team of 16 shares a unified vision: to provide a stage for those who are desperate to prove themselves. Through our in-house programs like Enter Stage, Shensemble, and KISS (Keep It Slightly Short), we encourage aspiring artists to explore and showcase their talents in theatre.
