“I hail from Sriperumbudur, a town where my family and I have put down roots. My journey? It’s been a series of unexpected turns, each one guiding me toward something greater. Initially drawn to acting, I enrolled in the Shivaji Ganesan Acting course after my diploma, dreaming of a career in the ‘Lights, Camera, Action’ environment. Yet, despite my efforts, I realized acting wasn’t my forte. It was a tough decision to pivot, but deep down, I sensed there was a bigger calling waiting for me.
Fortune favored me through advice from well-wishers, which led me to start exploring the vast realm of movie marketing. I put time into learning the ropes of digital marketing. In 2017, I started Third I Media, my brainchild for digital marketing. Our debut project, “Uru,” marked the beginning of my exciting career journey.
However, life’s unpredictability struck hard during the lockdown. Losing my father and facing the challenges of a fledgling venture was a heavy blow. The office space rented for digital marketing stood deserted as financial strain forced its closure. By then, I got clarity on what to do, how to do and when to hit it so that it becomes a super-success. Usually when you notice people who are lone wolves win the stage as they have plenty of time to think, process, read, and examine things around them.
More than five years have passed by me leading a small and determined team. Learning from the highs and lows of managing a team and an office, I’ve honed a vision for my next steps. With a portfolio of over 150 projects overall and 50 successful ventures just last year, the joy of leading a dedicated team working remotely is all I ever wanted.
The journey of entrepreneurship comes with challenges, obstacles, and, more importantly, experiences. What in life is better than experiencing life itself?!
But therein lies its beauty — the resilience and belief in oneself when the world seems unconvinced. My mantra? Believe in yourself when no one else does. It’s this self-belief that propels us forward, igniting the path to success.
Today, I’ve come to cherish the continuous conviction that carried me through the darkest of times. Our success story isn’t just about numbers; it’s a self-review of the power of self-belief.”
