“It’s a funny story as to how I came to be a musician. I used to love watching people play in Sunday church sermons. During one such event, upon pressing a wrong key, one of the instrumentalists condemned me saying that I would never ever be a musician. And that set the tone for the rest of my life.
I wanted to become a musician just to prove him wrong. I did all major courses from Tamizh Isai College in Parrys. And side by side, I have been training for vocals under different teachers.
To this day, I have dubbed from a couple of Telugu and Malayalam films. And I have sung a title track for Goli Soda 1.5 in Tamizh.
The only message that I would like anyone to take from my story is that, there’s noone without a talent in this world. If anyone demeans us that way, we owe it to ourselves to prove them wrong.”
