“I’m Christina, and my daughter’s name is Sweetie. You may know us as Fun with Ponnu on Instagram. My father was a seaman, and my mother was a homemaker. Being the only child, I received all the love from my parents and had a happy life. However, everything changed when my mom passed away when I was just 15 years old. It was a difficult time, and I had to learn to live without my parents’ comfort.

As I grew up and became a young lady in society, I faced many challenges. But with my self-confidence and boldness, I was able to overcome them all.

I got married in my twenties, and when Sweetie was born, I felt like my mom was born again. I wanted to be more than just a working mother, and I dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur and social influencer.

I love chocolates, and so I started a small homemade chocolate business and started promoting them on Instagram. I always try to do what I love the most. Even though I had my own broken heart, I hid it by making people around me happy.

Having to spread the joy around, I decided to start a YouTube channel and an Instagram page under the name of “Fun with Ponnu,” where Sweetie and I posted funny videos. I felt so happy and content when people started appreciating our mother-daughter duo.

I learned that we may not know where our passions will take us, but doing what we love can bring us great contentment and success. Despite facing challenges and heartbreak, I persevered and found joy in making others happy. My story is a reminder that with self-confidence and a willingness to pursue our passions, anything is possible. More importantly, I believe, making myself and our closed ones happy is the ultimate purpose of our lives.”
