“From studying Zoology to choreographing dances to working in a BPO to teaching students on Real estate terms to freelancing to starting a venture. I took Zoology in my UG, just because my parents couldn’t afford a visual communication course. I came to Chennai. I got a BPO job. Like everyone, I underwent training before starting the actual work. Simultaneously, I worked on finding if I could do a Viscom course somehow.
After my 2 years at the job, my mentor asked me if I could train the batch on her behalf. Without a second thought, I said “yes”. I always wanted to become a dance choreographer and fortunately, I got an opportunity to teach dance in an academy to a set of people. I felt both jobs were almost similar in the aspect of teaching. Though they were very less paid, I enjoyed my work. In 2009, I went to Mumbai for another BPO job. And then shifted to Gujarat. Unfortunately, I was again paid less for both positions. In due course, I became a Certified Trainer on Commercial Leasing and Marketing from one of the prestigious Institue for Real Estate in Chicago, USA. I started teaching Indian Real Estate and USA real estate. I started interacting with many architects, marketers, and engineers about real estate’s terms and learned how it works.
Since I was becoming an expert in educating people on real estate, I started training corporates and it became very successful. I started freelancing and got many opportunities to train people in real estate terminologies, documentation, and acts. RERA became the talk of the town for a while in 2017. When people wanted to learn RERA, that was where I jumped into the market. I was well-equipped with all the terms in support of RERA. On top of that, I started training developers who wanted to learn more about RERA. Consequently, I met one of my old friends, and he suggested starting a company together based on the real estate market. My strength was to train and educate people/corporates/students with the whole of real estate and the ways to deal with it in every season. Since that was a new concept in the RE field, it was a little challenging for us to bring it forward, but later after implementing many online strategies, we could make it to the right audiences. We are, still, in the nascent stage, but we know that this business can crack the real estate education market.”
